When we think about ‘elopement’ we think of bride and groom standing on top of the mountain, saying their vow and say ‘I do’.
But with these two, Lacey and Noah did something totally different. They rent rented an AirBNB for their elopement! Yep that’s right! I will never forget walking into this house seeing Noah ironing Lacey’s wedding dress while Lacey was making her own bouquet. Everything about this elopement was intimate and so real. They didn’t have friends or family there. It was just them, the officiant, the lead photographer (Quincy Phillips), and me. Quincy has me got to be the witness abs sign our names in their marriage certificate. After the ceremony we also got to do a bunch of wedding photos because we got the whole place to do these bridal photos for ourselves. After pictures, Lacey and Noah cooked their first meal as husband and wife. They decorated their own sweetheart table, celebrated and cut the cake. It was unreal. I will 100% be down to re-live this day again.
I know with everything that’s going on, a lot of couples have to give up their big weddings for now. But if wedding is about two people joining each other’s lives, why not start it by just the two of you? There’s nothing is like elopement. This is where you actually get to ENJOY your day and each other . No distractions of making sure you get all photos with everyone like the big weddings. No stress of pleasing anyone. Because at the end of the day, the most important person you have is your spouse. So just enjoy it like these two did!
